VIGNETI DI ETTORE:
AMARONE – Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG
A wine of harmony that reveals its character after patient waiting, quietly aging in the cellar. Elegant and long-lived wine
A vast bouquet, balsamic gusts of eucalyptus and licorice are followed by a broadside of ripe but not syrupy cherry and in the background a sweet corolla a vapor is caught;
a savory “wag” and an acid vein lift and qualify the taste by mitigating the impetus of the sixteen degrees of alcohol
Amarone has become over the years the symbol of Valpolicella. It is the wine of holidays and important events that bring the family together. It is an elegant and long-lived wine that requires a great deal of care and attention in its preparation right from the handmade vineyard selection of the best grapes. The uniqueness of Amarone is in fact the drying of the grapes that lasts about 100 days, during which the typical notes of mature fruit and spicy evolve.
Amarone is aged in wood for at least 3 years followed by a year’s rest in bottle. Take your time: enjoy every facet of it
